AIDS drug study ends; research suffers blow

WASHINGTON - A major international study of a drug-conserving AIDS therapy has been halted because patients trying the on-again, off-again strategy got sicker than those who never took a break from the high-powered drugs, U.S. researchers announced Wednesday.

Students get help in housing search

Students can find information about off-campus housing opportunities at the Student Housing Expo today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the lobby of Pruis Hall. Every major apartment community serving the Ball State University community will have a booth during the expo, Jack Colwell, Student Housing Expo chairman of the Residential Property Management Association, said.

Campus repairs to cost millions

Windows, roofs and major utility systems on campus need repairs, but Ball State University does not have the money to fix all the problems. Repairs on academic buildings have fallen behind due to a shortage in state repair and rehabilitation funding to the university.
