Dear Editor,
You have been putting letters in the Forum about how the university should fire Buckley and talking about the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Well, now I would like to say something to everyone: You complain about the men's basketball team, but what about the women's team?
It is not on a six-game losing streak. The longest losing streak the team has had all year is two games.
There was a double-header Saturday. The women played right after the men, but no one cared to stay. The minute the men's game was over, the student section cleared out.
Where is the support from them and our alumni?
It didn't cost you anything to stay because you were already there for the men's game.
Why don't students and almuni show support for all sports, not just the ones that aren't doing so great right now?
