On Tues. May 27, Muncie Emergency Medical Services Chief Wesley Miller was charged in Jay County with two felony counts for "residential entry" and "domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old", according to charges posted from mycase.IN.gov.
Miller was placed on administrative leave “effective immediately”, according to an official May 28 statement from the City of Muncie. On June 4th, a follow up press release revealed his appointment to the position was withdrawn.
