'Evolve' trailer shows new monster

2K and Turtle Rock Studios have released a new trailer showcasing the latest monster addition to Evolve. The trailer shows the new monster, named Gorgon, during gameplay from the hunter’s perspective.

Nintendo and DeNA’s first mobile game 'Miitomo' delayed until 2016

Nintendo announced at an investor’s meeting on Wednesday October 28 that Miitomo, Nintendo’s first smartphone project with DeNA, will be delayed until 2016. IGN reported that in a translation by The Wall Street Journal from Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, Miitomo is going to be “free-to-play, with attractive add-ons that people can pay for.” Other smartphone games will be “pay-to-download.” IGN also reported that Nintendo added in a statement after the presentation that Miitomo is: “a free-to-start communication application that helps friends share fun personal facts and interests.

Dead Secret brings a new level of horror

A new horror game brings dread and mystery to another reality--virtual reality, that is. Dead Secret, created by Robot Invader, is a first-person game coming to PS3 and PS4 in January 2016 and PlayStation VR later. The game focuses on a reclusive man found dead in his study.

Ball State snaps losing streak, defeats UMass on Halloween

Halloween's 24-10 win over the University of Massachusetts gave Ball State its most complete game since September’s loss at Northwestern. The offense put together a combination of production through the air and on the ground, while the defense held the opposition to just 10 points.

Campus now offers virtual tours

Virtual tours of campus will soon be available for prospective students who are from out of state, out of the country or just unable to a tour into their schedule. The virtual tour guides are meant to be more convenient for high school students and international students who are interested in Ball State. Students who find the scheduling of on campus tour guides too hard to commit to can use the virtual tour guides to see around campus.

Ball State soccer MAC tournament preview

Ball State soccer will go into the Mid-American Conference tournament ranked as the No. 1 seed. The Cardinals finished with a 14-3-2 overall record, finishing with a 10-1 conference record.

Ball State looks for win against Sharpe, UMass

On Halloween, the Ball State Cardinals will face off against a wide receiver with a proven history against them. University of Massachusetts senior wide receiver Tajae Sharpe had a career day against Ball State last season, hauling in 13 grabs for 239 yards.
