With Fall Commencement comes a great deal of ceremony: cap and gown, “Pomp and Circumstance” and the speeches of proud faculty and peers. It’s a thoroughly fancy affair – a dignified send-off to four long years of hard work and memories. While it marks the end of the class of 2023’s college years, it’s only the beginning of a life of formalities.

WORLD OF HORROR makes the macabre mundane

Adding to the ever growing list of rogue-like games, WORLD OF HORROR offers unique and inventive gameplay, settled into stylish pixel art and eldritch horror in equal amount. While the loop approach to the narrative can end up a bit predictable, WORLD OF HORROR is an indie title well worth time and price tag.

Through its “Rooted in Community” project, Muncie secured the third-highest award in the state of Indiana, acquiring $2 million to put towards planting and sustaining trees. 

Brown Planetarium hosts Partial Solar Eclipse Community Block Party

The Cooper Science Complex, Oct. 14 from 11:30 - 2:30 p.m., held a viewing party for the partial solar eclipse. Originally planned to span the Quad, weather conditions forced the event to be held indoors, with booths set up throughout the building. 

Ball State's Self-Care 101 program allows students to find self-care information and practices

Ball State’s Counseling Center has launched its Self-Care 101 program in conjunction with the start of the academic year. This new program, located on the Canvas learning management system, provides resources for students to learn and improve their self-care practices.
