‘Rampage’ is more like a cinematic temper tantrum

If you’re looking for a juicy piece of cinema to hold you over until the  summer movie season starts up, 'Rampage' isn’t for you. However, if  you’re a fan of things like the 'Sharknado' franchise or enjoy watching  bad movies, it’s not a bad pick. It’s cheesy, it’s almost pulpy, and a  perfect entry in the endless series of movies featuring Dwayne “The  Rock” Johnson in a jungle wearing what seems to be the only shirt he  owns. Wait for the home release, though.

30 Seconds to Mars’ “America” is not worth high expectations

Overall, the album was not completely bad, just very mainstream  sounding. If the listener is a die-hard fan, especially of their early  2000’s music, they may really enjoy some of these songs such as “Walk on  Water” or “Rescue Me”. Though these songs sound like a reminiscent  mainstream evolution of that, basically it as if they took the  foundation of the songs, kept it, and changed the words.  Great songs  that stand out on this album are “Great Wide Open” and “Love is Madness”  featuring Halsey. These represent either Leto’s strong vocal talents,  strong features, or great instrumentals.

Lucy Dacus @ The Hi-Fi, Indianapolis (4/7/18)

Unlike many rock artists of her time, Lucy Dacus does not raise the roof  or inspire any dance parties. However, her live show is anything but  timid. At her first-ever Indianapolis concert, she supported the aptly  named album ‘Historian’ with songs that told well-documented stories in  creative new ways. The subtly epic qualities of her music were perfectly  suited to the homely atmosphere of the Hi-Fi and the eager  attentiveness of the crowd.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8, Episode 15: “Worth”

“Worth” was definitely worth watching, which is surprising to say.  Several plot points that had been left open for several episodes were  all wrapped up in a nice little bow this week. Despite that, it’s  evident that the writers were in a rush to clear up attention for the  season finale. Go ahead and watch this one.

‘A Quiet Place’ silently disturbs viewers

If you like small, self-contained movies, then 'A Quiet Place' is the  perfect film for you. The movie shines with its use of sound, and how  unsettling it can be. If you can look past underdeveloped relationships  and lack of context, this movie will thrill you and keep you in  suspense. It’s a nice break from some other dialogue heavy movies out  there.
