Ball State defeats Eastern Michigan in overtime thriller at home

The Cardinals (16-7, 7-3 MAC), enjoying their best start since 2000, defeated the Eastern Michigan Eagles (6-17, 3-7 MAC) in what was a tightly contested contest that needed an extra five minutes to decide a winner. This game, broadcasted on CBS Sports, was a close one from the very beginning with Ball State trailing by three going into halftime. Head Coach Michael Lewis applauded his team for a better, more complete second half.

Offensive showcase helps guide Wapahani past Cowan

When young kids are asking high school basketball players for their autographs after a game, they must have done something right. On Thursday night, the Wapahani Raiders defeated the Cowan Blackhawks 93-52. Head coach Matt Luce was very happy with how his team performed.

“I think that's a huge part of it. I think it's amazing, I see that, and I want to get that for our kids here at Muncie central. [I want to] partner with Sports Link and Burris again, and kinda get some of our kids involved and make it even bigger,” Halloway said.
