Heartland Film Festival 2018: ‘Eva’ shows the redemptive power of forgiveness from someone who has every right not to give it

'Eva' is an amazing film for the people unfamiliar with Eva Mozes Kor’s life story. The storytelling is balanced, heartfelt, and the breadth of interviewees is staggering. Though the editing can make the film’s pacing feel a bit slow, this documentary communicates its message with finesse. Eva Kor is an astounding person with an outlook on life that is expertly conveyed through this film about her life.
