The first episode of 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' stays true to the facts and original story. The characters were cast well and the dialogue was just as good. The story of the show sticks out and prevents it from getting lost in the crowd of other TV shows. The show provides a personality that you couldn't just get from reading a book about Versace and explains more in-depth how his company continued to thrive after his death. It also provides a closer look at how this tragedy affected the victims personally.
