Outdoor Pursuits student employees protect students, teach skills

The Student Recreation and Wellness Center’s climbing wall may stretch 36 feet into the air, but students willing to scale its 1,500 square foot surface needn’t worry—and not just because they’re secured by ropes and harnesses. 33 student employees of Outdoor Pursuits are the human component of the rock wall’s safety system.

Capcom announces Resident Evil Origins Collection

Capcom announced a new collection for the Resident Evil series. The Origins Collection will include both of the HD remastered versions of Resident Evil and the upcoming Resident Evil 0 remake. The collection will be released in physical form on disk, as opposed to buying the two games separately, which is currently digital only. The company also announced that Wesker Mode will also be included on the Resident Evil 0 remaster, both on the collection and its solo digital release.

'Ace Attorney 6' announced, getting US release

Capcom recently confirmed reports that a new Ace Attorney game is in the works. Ace Attorney 6 (working title) is currently in development, and will be getting a release in the west. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu reported that the 6th main entry in the Ace Attorney courtroom drama series was in development.

Ball State suffers 1st loss of season at IUPUI

After a 3-0 start to begin the season, the Ball State women's volleyball team suffered its first defeat of the season on Sept. 2 at IUPUI. The Cardinals had four straight chances to close out the first set, but couldn't capitalize and fell 29-27. The Jaguars carried the momentum into a sweep victory.

Collision leaves student trapped in car

A two-car collision left one woman trapped inside her vehicle around 3:35 p.m. Aug. 28 Ball State student Arbanee Davis collided with 49-year-old Muncie local Alan Brammer, the president of All American Door & Entry Systems, and was unable to exit her car.
