‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ is a smashing success

 ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’, despite a potentially regressive narrative  for its’ lead and some clear cuts made for time that leave some loose  ends to be hastily tied in the last five minutes, manages to meet and  even surpass the high expectations one would have coming out of the  original.

Run-On Sentences: A backward step for Michigan

During midterm elections my home state of Michigan passed Proposal 1 56-44, making it the first Midwest state to legalize recreational marijuana. The state legalized medical marijuana in 2008, and to many in the state, it was only a matter of time before it was legalized in full.

‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ creator Stephen Hillenburg dies of ALS at 57

Hillenburg was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, otherwise known as ALS, in March of 2017 and died of neurological complications at his home in Southern California. Nickelodeon tweeted the news today stating, “We are sad to share the news of the passing of Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants. Today, we are observing a moment of silence to honor his life and work.” Nickelodeon went on to say that the characters and world Hillenburg created, “will long stand as a reminder of the value of optimism, friendship and the limitless power of imagination.”
