Blankets covered the Quad at the 15th annual Quad Bash, pleasing event coordinators who expected, and received, one of the largest turnouts ever on Friday evening. People of all ages attended the event. Inexperience and raw talent turned useful as younger players helped the women's volleyball team try out its wings in the Nike/Active Ankle Tournament this weekend. With only six players having previous collegiate experience, the Ball State Cardinals went 1-2 on the weekend.
An estimated 1,500 to 1,700 people came to Quad Bash on Friday. It was one of the largest turnouts ever for Quad Bash, an event that has been happening for 15 years, University Program Board, the organizers of the event, said. Students of all ages, not just freshmen, turned out in large numbers for Quad Bash and participated in the activities offered at the event.
