Cardinal Greenways 5K returns this summer with a new course

Cardinal Greenways is hosting a series of events — starting with the “Cardinal 5K” — that offer multiple different methods of getting active, as well as different options for people looking to compete or enjoy time exercising with their families.

Ball State student shot and killed near campus

Vice President for Student Affairs Ro-Anne Royer Engle sent a campus-wide email June 19 announcing a young man was shot and killed on West Abbott Street. She said he was a Ball State student. Kathy Wolf, vice president for marketing and communications, confirmed the victim's name was Montana Miquel Lopez, who the Muncie Star Press reported was a Ball State freshman.
