Why 2017 was a garbage fire

by Daley Wilhelm Let’s be honest: last year wasn’t the best. But 2017 had a special way of astounding me every time I glanced at the news. Astounding me in the wholly worst of ways. The list of why 2017 was a horrible, terrible, no good year is a long one, but excluding natural disasters and national embarrassments, I narrowed it down to five things that contributed to 2017’s particular brand of rankness.

1. Nazis everywhere

seriously anti-Semitic things questionable things being hateful SJW propaganda saying a racial slur on stream

2. Hollywood’s sexual assault scandals

Harvey Weinstein
Kevin Spacey. Andy Dick. Brett Ratner. Matt Lauer. Dustin Hoffman. Louis C.K. Jesse Lacey. systematically covered up the crimes of one man Years

3. YouTube is Bust

problematic YouTubers and channels Adpocalypse, LGBT+ content is a thing

4. Net Neutrality

it’s no longer free almost unanimous dissent against it stolen identities

5. Greedy games

downvoted post ever Star Wars: Battlefront II
