The committee searching for Ball State’s next president met today to discuss the evaluation of future candidates.
Wayne Estopinal, board member and chairman of the committee, said the group worked on documents to evaluate and define how they will interview candidates.
“We’ll have an opportunity for everyone to evaluate on the same criteria, so there is some consistency in the evaluation to be as fair to each candidate as possible,” Estopinal said.
He said during the two-hour meeting, the types of candidates were discussed but no specific candidates were named.
Private search firm Baker and Associates is conducting the search. Jerry H. Baker, president of the firm, was not able to attend the meeting because of weather conditions.
