Vocal opposition from the Ball State and Muncie communities concerned over health and environmental factors was one of the reasons behind stopping a steel-dust recycling plant from setting shop in town.
After discussions between officials from the city of Muncie, the Muncie Redevelopment Commission (MRC), and Waelz Sustainable Products LLP (WSP), a plan to bring a WSP plant to Muncie has ended, according to a press release.
Boston University took control of its area's school in a way that gave precedence to the Ball State and Muncie Community.
