As a freshman, Burns posted a 7.58 ERA in 38 innings, but through 10.1 innings in 2016, he has 10 strikeouts and has only allowed one earned run. The Ball State Women's golf team posted a three-day score of 925 to place 16th at the Rio Verde Invitational this past weekend.
