Today marked the beginning of National School Bus Safety Week(NSBSW). Twenty-five million students ride school buses each day in the United States and this week is used to spread awareness about their safety.

The homecoming season brings plenty of energetic events jam-packed with school spirit. Every year, Ball State hosts the annual Air Jam in Emens Auditorium. Air Jam features different student organizations like residence halls, independent organizations, and Greek life. The groups choreograph and lip-sync to popular music. At the end of the show, the performers receive awards like fan favorite, Independent winner, and overall winner.
The crowdfunding program, started in the 2018-19 academic year, provides a platform for members of the Ball State community to raise money for their foundation-approved projects, according to its website.

The Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be without hot water Tuesday morning according to a campus-wide email from Ball State's Recreation Services.

Ball State Women’s Golf struggled to find its groove against the nation’s top teams at the Cardinal Cup Sunday. Up until this event, the Cardinals beat at least half of the field in every tournament of the fall. That changed when they finished 13th out of 17 teams in Louisville.
Junior midfielder Nicky Potts goal in the 100th minute gave the Cardinals the win and snapped an eight game winning streak for the Falcons.
Thanks to 580 yards of offense and seven touchdowns, Ball State (4-3, 3-0 MAC) broke its drought of five consecutive losses in Homecoming games in front of 15,113 strong Saturday in a 52-14 win over Toledo (4-3, 1-2 MAC).
Ball State is on a “revenge tour.” Essentially, the Cardinals (4-3, 3-0 MAC) are out to beat every team in the Mid-American Conference, and after Saturday’s 52-14 win over Toledo (4-3, 1-2 MAC), they became the lone team undefeated in MAC play.
Ball State broke ground Saturday morning on a new Multicultural Center to the east of Bracken Library.
Several fans bundled up Friday to watch Blackford (5-4) take on Mississinewa (8-1). The Indians got the best of the Bruins, 38-13, but the Bruins held their heads high.
