"I'm certainly happy for him and his star sure shined today," he said after the game. Eppers also scored the lone Cardinals' run in the game.
Ball State senior pitcher Nicole Steinbach won her third Mid-American Conference West Pitcher of the Week award this season. Over the weekend of March 18-20, Steinbach pitched against Massachusetts and Boston at the Maryland Tournament. She collected two wins to add to her team high total of eleven.
