One winning game didn’t change the tone of an entire year. The Ball State men’s basketball team will still finish the 2013-14 season with no more than six victories.
University Police Department say it will be prepared for Mardi Gras, though there will be no extra officers on duty tonight. Gene Burton, chief of police, said UPD would do everything in its power to keep Ball State and the surrounding area safe. “There are no worries,” he said.

Elija Swager, a Ball State freshman, died off campus Saturday morning. Police have not released the cause of death.
