'Hitman' Episode 1 needs to go back to basic training

@Daltynmartyn This review is based off the Xbox One version of the game Hitman Episode 1:Paris is the latest entry into the Hitman series, as well as the first to utilize the new episodic format, a move that was met with outrage by fans when developers IO Interactive announced the change earlier this year. Sure, the episodic content will put a damper on any fan wanting to experience more than one full mission a month, however, between a complete lack of content, idiotic AI, and a game-breaking always online system, I can promise you that an episodic format is the least of your worries regarding this horrendous mess. To say that Hitman is shaping up to be one of the worst games of 2016 would be a massive understatement. Missed Opportunities For a game that is split up into seven episodes, you would expect that the content would be pretty bare, as is the case with most episodic games.

Otome Madness: 'Amnesia: Memories'

After last time’s severely disappointing game, I was feeling burnt out on otome games. It was like my dreams were crushed, something that I was so excited for turned out to be the most disappointing thing ever. Suddenly I couldn’t trust people’s reviews anymore, so when I turned to the well reviewed Amnesia: Memories it felt like a rock was lodged into my stomach.

'Tom Clancy's The Division' is worth the wait

@GalledGiatric I knew I was going to review Tom Clancy’s The Division from the moment I watched the announcement at E3 three years ago. Watching those Division agents fight through the streets of New York was absolutely enthralling, and seeing the level of detail that the devs at Ubisoft Massive put into every aspect of the reveal was amazing. Incredibly, despite three years of anticipation and Ubisoft’s consistent failures to live up to their E3 promises, The Division is a flawed gem that exceeded my expectations. Movie Pilot Manhattan is dying The very first steps you take into Manhattan are over body bags on Chelsea’s Pier. Stepping over body bags and staring at the Manhattan skyline through a veil of snow set a very distinct and powerful tone in the first real moments of The Division. When this tone is maintained, which it unfortunately isn’t in much of the side content, The Division is one of the most immersive and interesting games I’ve played in a long time. Exploring an absurdly accurate Manhattan and learning what happened to the populace in the time immediately before and after the cataclysmic “Dollar Flu” hit is powerful.
