In their first ever matchup between Ball State and Belmont, the Cardinals came away with a 6-1 victory in Nashville. The match was held outside at the Centennial Sportsplex, with temperatures reaching in the region of 68 degrees by the end of play.
The Cardinals are now 7-3 on the season after winning both legs of Saturday's doubleheader.
