Due to the recent weather, this years Spring Commencement is moving to Worthen Arena. Interim President Terry King informed the Ball State community via email today that commencement, while it will still begin at the previously scheduled time of 10 a.m., will move from its usual location in the Quad. "In the best interest of our graduates and their families, we are moving Saturday's commencement ceremony to Worthen Arena," King said in an email.
The Delaware County Fairgrounds hosted the 11th annual Autism Awareness Festival this weekend. Muncie citizens gathered inside Heartland Hall and Memorial Building for festivities that included bounce houses, silent auction items, photo booths, free lunch, games, and information booths with resources focused on raising a child with autism.

Following the conclusion of the 2017 NFL draft Saturday, five Ball State athletes earned opportunities to pursue professional football. Four of them played for on the Ball State football team during their collegiate careers, but one made his presence known on the basketball court. As the Ball State women's tennis season ended in heartbreak yesterday in the Mid-American Conference semifinal to Miami, head coach Max Norris said his team had lapses and let their emotions get the best of them.
