Ball State University will welcome its first round of about 180 incoming students to campus today for their freshman orientation as part of a large incoming freshman class. Library staff saw suspect masturbate once before

A 35-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Bracken Library last week had been seen in a similar situation earlier this year, a Ball State library official said Wednesday. Brian Saparnis, assistant sports editor for The Star Press, was found masturbating in the library's Educational Resource Center by two staff members May 24, Dean of University Libraries Arthur Hafner said.

BASEBALL: Baseball players earn all-MAC recognition

Two baseball players from Ball State University, first baseman Brad Miller and center fielder Justin Rogers, were named to the Mid-American Conference All-Conference team. Miller, a senior, earned first-team honors. He leads the MAC with a .688 slugging percentage, 21 home runs and 75 RBIs, setting Ball State single season records in homers and RBIs.
