Sallee wins 200th career game as Ball State tops Bowling Green

Ball State women's basketball coach Brady Sallee won his 200th career game Saturday as the Cardinals (12-4, 4-1 Mid-American Conference) took down Bowling Green State University (5-9, 1-4 MAC), 67-56. Sallee told the ESPN3 coverage team it was a "special milestone" because of the people that have worked with him along the way including players, assistant coaches and his family. "Those 200 wins have taken a lot out of my wife and three kids," he said. "They put so much into my career and you can't do this with just one man." Sallee won 136 games as a head coach at Eastern Illinois University before becoming the Ball State head coach in 2011. Senior guard Nathalie Fontaine has been on the Cardinals' roster for all 64 of Sallee's career wins at Ball State. She scored 12 points against BGSU and hauled in 12 rebounds, her eighth double-double of the season. Freshman guard Carmen Grande led the Cardinals with 18 points, topping her previous season and career high of 10 points.
