Three Poisonous Plants You Should Avoid

Presented in conjunction with Wicked Plants: The Exhibit, After Hours: Whiskeyed Plants brings you face to face with some of the most dangerous plants while sipping on delicious bourbon. On April 19, 2019 between 6-9 p.m., come together with friends to enjoy hand-crafted cocktails and solve a mystery in the process. Wicked Plants: The Exhibit leads visitors through a ramshackled Victorian-era home, uncovering secrets and solving a central mystery while learning about the history, science, and legend of various medicinal and poisonous plant life. You have to be over 21 to attend and participate in this event. We are also thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Oakley Brother’s Distillery.

Meet the 2019-20 SGA executive slate, Elevate

After winning Ball State's 2019 Student Government Association (SGA) election on March 19, Elevate will be inaugurated as the SGA executive slate for the 2019-20 academic year 3:15 p.m. April 18 in Cardinal Hall B at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.

Chai: Fear isn’t the answer

I’m a 19-year-old Jewish American. For the first time in my life, I fear for the current and future safety of my Jewish friends and family. And the fear gets new fuel almost daily. 


Coffee, Conversation and The Cup

Something as simple as a cup of coffee and a conversation can go a long way to grow a community and create new connections. We feel that no one should have to walk into an establishment and feel that they do not belong.
