'This War of Mine' heads to consoles

After the horrifying events of the 1992–96 Siege of Sarajevo inspired formerly PC exclusive This War of Mine, developer 11 bit studios is bringing the game to the console front.



EA creates new event outside of E3

In EA’s new campaign to "Put Players First," a new event is being held independent from E3. Titled EA Play, the occasion is on the calendar from July 12-14, running just before E3’s showing.


Peter Molyneux Twitter hacked, emphasizes he is not retiring

In what many thought was the finale in the spectacle that is Peter Molyneux’s career in the video game industry, the figure behind the Black & White and Fable franchises, he appeared to have announced his retirement from the gaming industry via Twitter as well as the removal of his latest game, Godus, on Steam. Shortly after thanking everyone attached to Godus and attributing his latest failures in the industry to Fable 3, Molyneux’s account made yet another tweet in which he claimed to have been hacked and proceeded to debunk everything posted by the alleged hacker.





'Street Fighter V' story details revealed ahead of February release

For those eagerly awaiting the next entry in the Street Fighter franchise, Capcom has just released some tantalizing details about the story for the new game. At launch, each fighter will have his or her own individual story that will add important context to the current timeline such as background information and relationships between other characters.
