Attention all cinephiles and fashion enthusiasts alike, we are currently entering into the era of Taylor Russell, who has managed to keep her name buzzing in a sea of Hollywood nepo babies. How to Survive Watching ‘Survivor’

Survivor: a cultural phenomena in the early 2000s and one of the longest-running reality TV shows of all time. For 21 years, viewers have watched host Jeff Probst challenge different groups of strangers to provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves; win challenges for rewards and immunities; and ultimately survive 39 days in an isolated location. Ranking Harper Finkle’s Best and Worst Outfits

Growing up in the early 2000s, I watched a lot of Disney Channel. I lived, ate, and breathed Kim Possible, That’s So Raven, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. One show that stood out to me was Wizards of Waverly Place. For most fans of the show, the family dynamic, magic, or romantic relationships kept them tuning in each week but for a niche group of devoted fans–it was Harper Finkle and her unique style. Harper Finkle, while just a side character, who always debuted show-stopping outfits that fully encompassed her quirky and extraordinary personality. I have always loved Harper and her sense of style , but there will always be a best and a worst. Today, I will be ranking Harper’s outfits from best to worst based on aesthetic, uniqueness, and functionality/movement.

Artist of the Month: Special Interest

Special Interest is a sonic sucker punch to the stomach. Quickly barreling out of the New Orleans DIY music scene is knockout vocalist Alli Logout, guitarist Maria Elena, bassist Nathan Cassiani, and sonic soundmaker Ruth Mascelli. Together, the group deftly crafts an explosion of dance grooves and post-hardcore noise into complementary waves of glitzy sound. These artists are hot off the release of their 2022 album Endure which cemented their influence as revolutionists of a new sound and social consciousness.
