Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch is a hard game to recommend. As far as platformers go, it’s very challenging and often frustrating. Tropical Freeze was released at a full $60, and that’s enough to not recommend this game, considering it’s a port with only one new mode. Tropical Freeze has its moments, but in the end those moments aren’t enough to justify the countless lives you’ll lose while playing through this game. If you’re a hardcore platformer or Donkey Kong fan, you’ll love this game. Otherwise, you can pass on Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch.
This episode mainly focused on the action of a few fights with the classmates given permission to go against the law and fight for their lives, adding emotion to the suspense. The few highlighted fights showed some interesting villains and their quirks, while showing how some students struggle to fight against a real-threat. It’s not easy, and this episode is sure to remind the viewer of that with each second. The plot of the story arc progresses a lot in this episode, but the overall storyline of the show is not impacted that much.
The episode fulfills so many needs the season has been leading up to. Overall, the episode was carefully crafted with beautiful animation and a great use of a soft piano to really pull on the heartstrings. This is definitely the episode to not miss.
Overall, the Nintendo Labo is definitely a weird piece of technology that has yet to find its exact place in the gaming audience. The game shines brightest when people work together to create each toy. Otherwise, it can feel pretty disappointing and lonely. Despite the exhausting moments of the setup, there are unique and interesting ways to create and play.
This is movie is for everyone who has followed the MCU. However, it’s possible to enjoy the film without seeing every single Marvel film. The important movies to see are Thor: Ragnarok, Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2. While this may seem like a massive cliffhanger, the story is actually complete from Thanos’ perspective. Despite all of its flaws, the movie ultimately succeeds and does the unthinkable; killing Spider-Man.
This week on Pop Tabs Matt, Sarah, and Michael discuss resurrecting dead loved ones, bully hunting in gaming, and Kendrick Lamar’s Pulitzer win.
This episode is what makes My Hero Academia great. The minimal flashbacks add to the drama, making the viewer feel for each and every character. There are also some great scenes showcasing how powerful quirks are getting while being pushed to the limit in the training camp. This episode sets up for the drama and fight yet to come, and leaves the viewer on the edge of their seat. It is a beautiful episode.
