WTHR in Indianapolis reports (http://bit.ly/1WPJLD0) candles, flowers and British flags have been placed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in remembrance of the British driver who lived in Colorado. The Speedway also lit up his name in the electronic scoring column as a tribute.

Wilson was hit in the head during Sunday's race by debris that had broken off another car. Wilson's car veered into an interior wall at the track, and he was swiftly taken by helicopter to a Pennsylvania, hospital. He died Monday at age 37.

IndyCar fan Jay Eubanks tells WTHR (http://bit.ly/1WPJLD0 ) that everyone who comes to the track is like family.
