Greek Week's Double Dare today

With the end of Greek Week's Greek-elodeon Get Your Slime On a day away, the Greek Week Steering Committee is holding a daring event, challenging participants to their limits.

Double Dare at McKinley Mile is held at Woodworth Lawn today at noon.

The competition will include an obstacle course, pie in the pants contest, and a who-can-eat-more contest.

Students are encouraged to cheer on their teams as they push their bodies and stomachs to the limit to receive the most points at the end of the game. But, participants also have to be careful not to make many mistakes because they could be slimed.

Kelsey DeWees, events coordinator for Greek Life, said the event has many different dare challenges.

"Participants are encouraged to try and strange mixture of food items or there will be a possible repercussion," she said hinting to the possibility of getting slimed.

She said the goal was to have a huge blowout at the end of Greek Week and the obstacle course with a double dare challenge was the best way to do that.

Carson Lance, director of the Greek Week Steering Committee, said campus will be exciting tomorrow with Double Dare, McKinley Mile and University Program Board events.

"Double Dare is a great way to wind down Greek Week," he said. "It's free, fun and people can get involved with all of the great events on campus."
