The online voting for the Student Government Association smoking ban referendum has been extended to 9 p.m. tonight, SGA Treasurer Zac Davis said.
A typing error in the link to the poll's Web site, which was e-mailed to students Monday morning, prevented the link from opening properly, Davis said.
The link was down for about three hours, but after fixing the mistake, SGA e-mailed students with the correct link, Davis said.
SGA extended the deadline for voting to make up for the time that was lost Monday, Davis said.
The error in no way affected the votes, Davis said.
The results will be announced at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday near the Art and Journalism Building, which was the original plan, Davis said.
