Rain showers and a strong cold front yesterday, bring us clouds and colder temperatures for tonight and for the next couple of days.
Tonight: Rain showers move into the area around 10pm. They hang around through the night, becoming more widespread into the early morning hours. A cold front will follow up behind the system, bring much cooler temperatures. A low of 40 degrees tonight. Winds will stay breezy coming out of the SSW at 10-20mph, gusts up to 30.
Today: Moving into the afternoon hours, clouds will stick around. The sun will make some appearances throughout the day and we will reach the lower 70s as we move into this evening. Clouds will increase once the evening hours approach. Conditions remain dry throughout the day, but a system will move in tonight.
Weekend Recap: This past weekend saw a severe weather system cover much of the Eastern United States and bring several dozen possible tornadoes, long with many wind damage and hail reports. In fact, Saturday had the most storm reports of any day this year so far, and the 5th most tornado reports. Indiana escaped the tornado outbreak but much of Central Indiana, including Muncie, saw severe wind and hail.
Warmer temperatures and sunshine to end the week but rain showers tomorrow and cooler midweek temperatures stand in the way. Cooler start to the week this morning, dropping down to 31 earlier this morning. So as you head out the door this morning you might need a sweatshirt or a jacket. All the rain, storms, and clouds we saw this weekend have moved out of the area leading to sunny skies today and part of the day tomorrow.
Today: For today it will be mostly cloudy, seasonable temperatures and still breezy at times with a high of 55 Winds will be out of the West at 10-20 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
Tonight: More rain moves in overnight with possible isolated severe thunderstorms. The viewing area remains under a marginal risk (level 1/5) for severe weather. Main risks are damaging winds and isolated, weak tornado. Focus will be on the strong winds; a High Wind Warning is in effect tonight with gust up to 60mph possible which is equivalent to severe thunderstorm strength winds. Stay weather aware tonight as wind damage and power outages could be affecting the area.
Today: A weather system significantly impacting the east side on the nation is going to bring Indiana some rain and strong winds causing a high wind warning throughout Thursday night.
Tonight: Expect intermittent clouds overnight, with clouds thickening to become partly to mostly cloudy by daybreak. With partial clearing, this allows temperatures to drop into the mid 40s. Winds will be out of the west southwest at 10-15mph.

Very Pleasant weekend we just had, in the mid to upper 50's on Saturday and Mid 60's yesterday but both days brought plenty of sunshine and beautiful weather. Some of that will continue today, Sunshine in the morning hours giving way to increasing cloud cover throughout the afternoon.
Tonight: For tonight there is a Flood Advisory for the Delaware County until 10:30. There will be a wind advisory for the northern and central parts of Indiana through this evening. Rain ending later tonight and skies will clear with a low of 28 degrees. Winds will our of the NNE at 20-25 mph.
Today: We are under a wind advisory until this evening as gusts will almost get up to 50mph this afternoon. Hold on your umbrellas! Rain is expected to continue all throughout today, with a possible changeover to snow by early Friday morning. Temperatures will remain steady in the lower to mid 40s.
Tonight: Warm and sunny conditions today will transition into rain tonight after midnight. Low of 46 degrees tonight with winds picking up a little bit. A couple of spotty showers are possible before but expect to see steady rain after might night.

A chilly, wet, and windy day today saw temperatures drop up to twenty degrees compared to this time yesterday. Additionally, strong winds across the state meant wind chills up to ten degrees cooler. These two factors combined with wintry precipitation to create an overall unpleasant day for us here.
