Muncie police responded to the area of North Linden Street and West Beechwood Avenue at 1:54 a.m. on a reported armed robbery.
Muncie Police Chief Joe Winkle said a gun was involved in what he called a "person versus person" robbery.
Police said the victim was approached by three males, all wearing hoods at gunpoint.
No injuries were reported.
