MUNCIE, IN (WCRD Weather) -- Saturday is the official end of Winter Weather Preparedness Week here in Indiana, which makes it the perfect time to review everything that we covered during the week, as well as provide you with the streams for our interviews from Friday's Winter Weather Special.

I was able to sit down with Dr. David Call, professor of meteorology for Ball State University, earlier this week and talk about the El Niño weather pattern and what that means for winter. The full interview can be heard in the stream below.

Additionally, I was able to conduct a phone interview with the Associate Vice President for Facilities, Planning, and Management at Ball State, Jim Lowe. We spoke about what the University does to prepare for snow and the plan of action they take when winter weather is in the forecast. That interview can also be heard in full below.

While today marks the end of Winter Weather Preparedness Week, it should not be the end of your winter preparation. Make sure you stock up for, stay safe during, and stay aware of changing weather conditions. WCRD will keep you informed all winter long on the air at 91.3 FM, online at WCRD.net, and on Twitter by following @WCRDWX.
