Sonic Frontiers breaks the modern mold of Sonic releases, offering not only a new vision of the familiar title, but also an enjoyable gaming experience. With lofty highs, Sonic Frontiers can't however seem to achieve its full potential.
This is a fantastic game, full stop. It might not be doing anything groundbreaking or revolutionary, but it’s still crafted with a level of polish I don’t often see in games.
Twenty-three years ago Chocobo Racing raced its way onto the PlayStation One (PS1) and into my house. So, in the spirit of Chocobo GP’s launch, I wanted to revisit this old classic and see if it’s still able to cruise on in 2022 and how it compares to its distant sequel.
Chocobo GP could easily have been a slam dunk love letter to the original that could’ve attracted people tired of Mario Kart 8. Instead, it feels like a soulless cash grab that I cannot recommend until the monetization is reworked or the price is dropped.
