Daleville volleyball swept by Jay County in home finale

With the 2025 high school volleyball regular season drawing to a close, the Daleville Broncos had one final home stand on the evening of October 6, against the Jay County Patriots. The visitors however, stole the Broncos thunder handing the black and gold a straight-sets loss in their final home match of the regular season.

Daleville volleyball sweeps cross-town rival Shenandoah

The evening of September 24th was a special one for the Daleville Broncos as they hosted Mid-Eastern Conference rival, Shenandoah Raiders. It was senior night. With just 10 miles separating the two high schools, there were bragging rights up for grabs, and it was the Broncos earning those rights as they swept the visiting Raiders.

Daleville sweeps Union City; improves win streak to four

After a three-match road trip, the Daleville Broncos (10-5) returned home on the evening of September 10th to take on the Union City Indians (0-8). The Broncos had full control of the match from the very beginning never allowing the Indians to score more than 12 points in the sweep.

Daleville falls to Burris in a ferocious four sets

As fans piled into the seats at Daleville High School for the inter-county matchup between Daleville and Muncie Burris, they may not have expected the hard-fought matchup that was in store between the two rivals. In a back-and-forth affair, it was the Owls that came out on top, downing the Broncos in four set 3-1.

Daleville goes 2-2 at Shenandoah Invite

After a slow start at the Shenandoah Invite, Daleville bounced back with wins over Southwestern and Centerville to secure fifth place. Head coach Gayle Hicks said the early-season tournament offers a chance to learn and improve before the state tournament.
