Our nation is in trouble. Wildfires have ravaged our lands in the hills of California. Hurricanes have come knocking at our shores. Our capitol spins like a top every day as the investigation to possible Russian collusion continues. But here’s something that may surprise you; none of these are our nation’s most pressing issue.
It seems like politics are the only thing people have opinions on anymore. You look on social media or at the news and people are always talking about the latest and greatest (or, perhaps, worst) in government.
If you’ve watched TV for two seconds in the past month, then you’ve seen political campaign ads. Most of them just attack the other candidate, but every once in a while you’ll see the candidate physically ask for your vote.
We have a choice on November 8. It is a choice that many nations before us have had to make, and now it is America’s turn. That choice is between freedom and security. If we were smart, we would choose freedom every time.
