After the Storm

Category 4 storm, Hurricane Ian, made landfall in Florida Sept. 28, causing destruction unseen for years. The morale of many Florida residents and natives is low, yet many are hopeful their area will bounce back.

Effective Sept. 19, Rashida Willard advances as the Associate Vice President for Inclusive Excellence on Ball State University’s campus. As well as the staff members of the Inclusive Excellence Office, Willard said she is over the moon to be joining the small but sturdy team.

Alumni find passions in the statehouse

Many Ball State alumni have turned their passion for politics into a dedicated livelihood. While working in a tedious field, employees find that each day is somewhat like a new adventure, no single day is similar to the next.

Ball State storm chasers

Storm chasers love the uncertainty of the atmosphere; they love to observe the natural gifts that Mother Nature brings them. Whether the goal of their observations is for research purposes or for pure enjoyment, storm chasers consistently have an objective of discovering new things the weather carries in for them.
