May 17, the Orlando Magic won the NBA Draft Lottery, meaning they will select first overall in the 2022 NBA Draft held June 23. However, is the NBA right for holding a lottery or should the worst team automatically be given the first pick?
Beginning May 19, Ball State University's Working Well Program is offering a 15-20 minute Mindful Meditation session over Zoom every Thursday until June 16.
May 16, Ball State University announced its hours of operation for dining this summer.

Ball State Baseball (34-17, 28-7 MAC) split their series against Ohio (26-21, 18-14 MAC) 2-2. The May 13-15 series saw the Cardinals win 11-5 and 16-6, and lose 5-3 and 15-10, with the latter loss coming on Senior Day.
Delta High School, in Muncie, Indiana, had its prom May 14.
Round two and three of the 2022 Delaware County Baseball Tournament took place May 14, with the Yorktown Tigers (15-7) coming out as champions.

I lost myself in high school and being at the Daily News helped me find my place and my people.
In game one, Wapahani (17-3) defeated Cowan (9-8) 12-1 and in game two, Delta (5-14) defeated Wes-Del (10-8) 4-2. Wapahani goes on to face Yorktown (13-7) 10 a.m. May 14 and Delta faces Daleville (3-15) approximately 40 minutes after game one. The championship is scheduled for 7 p.m. May 14.
