Miami Duals shortened by weather

With winds between 30 to 40 mph and snowfall, Ball State track and field was still able to reach six top-five finishes and two career-best performances at the Miami Duals in Oxford, Ohio.

Sports injuries impact more than just physical part of sport

When Alex Fuelling’s collegiate volleyball career ended, the score was 11-7 in the second round of the Mid-American Conference women’s volleyball tournament. The senior outside hitter jumped up to hit a ball, and she landed not on the floor — as she had practiced so many times — but on her teammate’s foot.

Ball State baseball loses to Ohio in 10 innings

Ball State baseball (15-12, 2-2 MAC) came back from a three-run deficit to force extra innings against Ohio University (11-14, 2-2 MAC), but six unearned runs in the top of the 10th inning cost the Cardinals in a 12-6 loss. Head coach Rich Maloney said Ohio simply played better in the game. "They won this game," he said.
