Coming off their first win of the season, the Cardinals were crushed by Georgia Southern in their worst home loss since Oct. 2017. Ball State returns to action Sept. 30 in its Mid-American Conference opener against Western Michigan at 3:30 p.m. in Kalamazoo, Mich.
Agugliaro goes on to play at Prairie View Golf Course in Carmel, Indiana, for the state championship. The tournament will start Friday, Sept. 29, and end Saturday, Sept. 30. Tee times have not been announced.

In a clash between two North Central Conference rivals, Muncie Central earned its first win of the season with a 49-21 victory over Richmond. The first step towards continuing their momentum starts in Muncie Central's road matchup against the Marion Giants (2-4) next Friday, Sept. 29.

“There's never a game where we feel like we're out of it because of our defense,” Overholt said. “They’re runners and they're very aggressive. They take a lot of pride in game planning and seeing different formations.”
On Friday evening, Ball State added another piece to its growing tradition. The Cardinals’ decisive 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-16) victory over Central Michigan (6-8, 0-2 MAC) marked the program’s 1000th win in its 52-season history.
The Cardinals are soaring as Ball State takes down Central Michigan in a 4-0 shutout to stretch their winning streak to four, their longest since 2006. Ball State improves to 2-0 in MAC (Mid-American Conference) play marking the second time in a row that the Cardinals have started 2-0 in the MAC standings.
Muncie Burris defeated Frankton for the second time this season with a 3-0 sweep at Ball Gym in Muncie. The Owls picked up their 19th win of the year and look to ride that momentum into the Pioneer Conference tournament Sept. 23.
Led by a group of 12 seniors who have gone through this program together, Muncie Central boys soccer finds itself in prime position to compete for a North Central Conference title.
In just 1:28 on court Thursday night, the Cardinals quickly reversed their fortunes from last season. Ball State dismantled the Chippewas (6-7, 0-1 MAC) in a MAC-opening sweep (25-15, 25-21, 27-25).
Ball State opened their third home match of the season with defensive pressure against the Redhawks. That allowed senior forward Avery Fenchel to give the Cardinals the lead with a goal in the 11th minute. With the score from Klauss, the Cardinals took their first MAC win, defeating Miami (OH) 3-1.
Coming off of a 45-7 win against in-state rival Indiana State, Ball State is looking to even its record with a win against Georgia Southern at home on Sept. 23, starting at 2:00 p.m.
After dealing with cancer in their family's lives, Ball State softball’s Emma Eubank and Hannah Dukeman are using their name, image, and likeness for something bigger than themselves. Now, they are being awarded for their charitable act.
Ball State Waterski and Wakeboard Club coach Chris Walker continues to find joy in leading the club even after his son, who led him into the coaching world of watersports, passed away from melanoma, a type of skin cancer in 2015.

The Ball State hosted event gets its name from the former Ball State alum Brittany Kelly who was a standout golfer for the Cardinals, a PGA professional, and a member of the U.S. Women’s PGA Cup Team in 2019. Brittany passed away in 2021 from ovarian cancer, but her memory still lives on in the hearts of the competitors who won the competition in her honor two years later.
