In other MAC news, No. 3 seed Western Michigan went on to not only upset, but sweep top-seeded Buffalo 4-0 to claim the MAC Tournament championship Saturday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.

MEN'S GOLF: Cardinals in last place heading into final round of MAC Championships

The Cardinals currently sit in last place out of nine teams after shooting a combined 922 in the first three rounds of the MAC Championships, which are being held this season at Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio. The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University are four strokes ahead of Ball State, tied for seventh place with 918.

SOFTBALL: Milian becomes BSU's all-time wins leader in romp at Western Michigan

Pitcher Elizabeth Milian allowed just three hits and three walks while striking out eight in five innings of work. The Cardinals (35-13, 13-4 Mid-American Conference), meanwhile, went scoreless in the first inning before busting out with eight runs in the second frame, giving Milian more than enough run support to cruise to the victory.
