Burlesque show to entertain muncie locals, students

Muncie Civic Theatre will continue its long history of a burlesque theatre by playing host to the annual Star Follies Burlesque show tonight, a concept created four years ago by Ball State graduates Robert Dirden and Marcie Greene, now current Ball State faculty members.

The Muncie Children's Museum has received a grant to make new additions to the building. The next year will be spent raising additional funds for the expansion to the building.A nature center, a look-out center and a weather station are planned for these improvements.

FOOTBALL: Defensive back suspended after OWI arrest

Ball State defensive back Darius Conaway will not play against Army or Western Michigan, after being arrested for operating while intoxicated late Sunday night.Conaway, 20, was pulled over at the intersection of Linden and Rex Streets, with six passengers in a five-person vehicle, according to the Muncie Police Department.
