Martial arts club teaches self-defense

Ball State's martial arts club is preparing and teaching students how to defend themselves if they ever find themselves in a dangerous situation. NewsLink Indiana reporter Ashley Holsclaw has the story.





Dana, Morgan, Jack, Avery and Steve Polizzi spent a year in and out of Riley Hospital for Children after Jack was diagnosed with leukemia before his freshman year of high school. Freshman shares personal connection with Dance Marathon cause

Freshman Morgan Polizzi has collected $2,455 of the $4,536 raised by the Riley Relations Committee for Dance Marathon this year. Her reason hits a little closer to home than most. In August of 2013, the beginning of Polizzi’s senior year at Carmel High School, her world changed completely. Her younger brother Jack was diagnosed with Leukemia.

SGA slates discuss potholes, platform points in all slate debate

During the Student Government Association's full slate debate Tuesday night,  Atlas’s point of Pothole of the Month was challenged the most by the other slates, Momentum and Cardinal Direction. Atlas was asked to explain if they had fixed any potholes yet and what they anticipate to be their biggest challenge.
