The Ball State University’s Student Government Association began their meeting with a special presentation from the Pathways Project. Senator applicant Veronica Bedwell then presented for an At-Large Caucus position. Bedwell is involved in multiple campus organizations including One Love and the Student Social Work Association.
“I love getting to talk to our clients and see what they want and need and then shape our pantry over that,” Malchow explains. “It’s been fun to expand and make sure everyone gets what they need.”

HB 1608, banning educators and third-party vendors from teaching human sexuality in the classroom, passed through the House and will now be going to the Senate.
HB 1608 states schools, employees, staff and third-party vendors used by schools in Indiana are not permitted to provide instruction on human sexuality in certain grade levels. Some people are fighting against the bill.
Two small businesses in Muncie announced via Facebook that they were closing their storefronts permanently.
The School of Art’s annual art exhibit displays the artwork created by students during the past year. Different forms of art are featured like photography, ceramics, painting and drawing.
“I can tell you pretty clearly what sets us apart. From the crust, to the cheese, we have the absolute finest ingredients. We did not spare a penny on that, and that’s something we’re staying very firm [with],” Bell said.
