Cardinals continue to struggle this season

The Ball State field hockey team dropped its sixth consecutive game against Mid-American Conference foe, Miami. The Cardinals now sit at 1-12 on the season with an 0-2 conference record after the 3-0 loss against the top-25 ranked RedHawks.  It was a scoreless affair through most of the first half, until Geagy Pritchard of the RedHawks scored in the 31st minute of play, and would later score in the 60th minute as well.  Ball State goalie, Jordan Dues has started every game at the net this season, acquiring eight saves off of Miami's 25 shot attempts.  The Cardinals were only able to manage three shots on goal through the length of the match.  The Think Pink game will be Ball State's next match on Sunday, Oct 11 when they take on Bellarmine at 1 p.m.
