Ted Cruz on issues

Following the Fox Business debate, GOP candidate Ted Cruz trails front-runner Donald Trump by 13 points in Republican polls. Cruz took a noticeable rise from the hefty pool of GOP candidates in November 2015, and although the Cruz campaign took a slow start in the polls, the Texas Senator has gained heavy support from social and religious conservatives. Here is where Ted Cruz stands on some of the major issues

Women's Basketball escapes early deficit, 9th time this season

With the Cardinals win against conference rival Buffalo, they advance to 11-4 (3-1) but a pattern has emerged. In nine of their 15 games, the Cardinals have been outscored in the first quarter and forced to play catch-up. “I thought we started the game off well and we went through a stretch where they got squirrely on me,” head coach Brady Sallee said.

Ball State men's volleyball hosts two matches over the weekend

Ball State men’s volleyball returns to action this weekend, hosting Sacred Heart on Jan. 14 and Harvard on Jan. 15 at Worthen Arena. Currently the Cardinals are 1-1 and look to improve their record against the 0-3 Pioneers and the 1-2 Crimson. Sacred Heart may have a losing record, but it already played two teams ranked in the top 10 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches poll. Coach Joel Walton believes that Sacred Heart’s record may be deceptive, and that they are a very capable team. “I’ve watched Sacred Heart on video, they’ve got a couple of attackers that get up and crack the ball pretty well,” Walton said.
