DINNER FOR 2ISH: Chicken curry

We started cooking together in the summer of 2015 and have planned and cooked a dinner every week since. Our recipes are often inspired by the New York Times’ cooking website but are adapted to fit Muncie availability and a college budget. Chicken curry seems intimidating, but it's one of our easiest, quickest and most delicious recipes.

Ball State to host defending MAC champion Ohio

Ball State baseball (15-11, 2-1 MAC) will host Ohio University (10-14, 1-2 MAC) April 1-3 in a rematch of last year’s Mid-American Conference championship game. Last season, the Bobcats beat the Cardinals 6-2 to earn the MAC’s bid to the NCAA Regional tournament.

Ten Gymnasts earn Academic All-MAC honors

Ball State gymnastics led the Mid-American Conference, with 10 different athletes earning Academic All-MAC honors. To qualify for the Academic All-MAC team, student athletes must compete in at least half of their teams' events and maintain at least a 3.20 GPA.

14-year-old entrepreneur speaks on successes with Braille printing

As a 12-year-old, Shubham Banerjee received a flier seeking donations for the blind. He began thinking, and asked his parents how blind people read. “Google it,” they told him. Banerjee did, and learned about Braille and the high cost of Braille printers. So he built his own Braille printer — out of legos.d.

Applicants show interest in women's volleyball coaching position

Steve Shondell retired from his position as Ball State’s women’s volleyball head coach on March 28, and applicants have already began to show interest in the job. Ball State Athletic Director Mark Sandy said that while the university has not begun actively seeking applicants for the position, there have been people who have begun reaching out to the athletic department.

Despite cost, CIT gave Ball State chance to experience postseason

After a 19-13 regular season, Ball State accepted a bid to play in the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament. Teams in the tournament pay $38,000 to host a game, and Ball State athletic director Mark Sandy said the CIT game the Cardinals hosted on March 20 cost the athletic department about $25,000 after ticket sales and other income.
