MIVA continues to compete among best in NCAA men's volleyball

The 2015 NCAA men’s volleyball championship was the first time two teams from the same conference, other than the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, played in the championship. Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association rivals Loyola and Lewis played in the conference championship that year.

U.S. Navy Commander discusses political correctness with students

Political correctness was a hot topic when Aaron W. Dimmock came to speak to a group of students. The U.S. Navy Commander, who serves as the Navy Representative to the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Military Professionalism, had an open discussion with students April 12 on issues the nation is facing today.



Ball State baseball swept Western Michigan in its three-game series, outscoring the Broncos 41-6.

Ball State to play at Indiana University

Ball State baseball (21-12, 7-2 MAC) will take its Mid-American Conference-best offense to Bloomington April 13 when it takes on Indiana University (17-13, 4-2 Big Ten), which has the Big Ten's second-best pitching staff. In the National Collegiate Athletic Association RPI, the Cardinals ranked 118th, 49 spots ahead of the No. 167 Hoosiers.

John Mellencamp to perform at Emens

The Indiana-born artist, and Hall of Fame member behind hits such as "Jack and Diane," "Hurts so Good" and "R.O.C.K. in the USA," John ‘Cougar’ Mellencamp will perform at John R. Emens Auditorium at 7:30 p.m April 12.

Campus speed limits change to 20 mph

All the major campus roads, including McKinley Avenue, Neely Avenue, Riverside Avenue, University Avenue and Talley Avenue now have a new speed limit of 20 miles per hour, a change from their current 30 miles per hour speed limit.
